This is Gram. For as long as I can remember, we spent our days baking desserts together in the kitchen. Even until she was 97, she would occasionally whip out a mixing bowl and throw together a batch of Snickerdoodles, but it was usually paired with a “Honey, these aren’t as good as they used to be, my hands just don’t work the same anymore”. Trust me, they were still just as good, maybe even better.

Gram filled my childhood with delicious homemade memories of baking all of the classics together in our kitchen: snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies, raisin puffs, cakes, marble squares, breads, bars, cinnamon rolls, you name it, she baked it.

After a 6-year career in all aspects of cookie making and selling, small-scale to grocery-mass scale, I received some simple career advice to “start something small of my own”. With the encouragement of family and friends, I launched Really Good Cookies in the summer of 2023.

Gram instilled in me a deep love for baking, and even more so, the joy of providing for those we cherish. I am forever grateful that I was able to launch Really Good Cookies with Gram by my side and experience her sheer bliss and thrill when she unveiled our flagship flavor, “Gram’s Snickerdoodle”.

While Gram isn’t here with us today, her spirit lives on in every cookie we make. And I think she’d agree, they’re really, really good! Enjoy!
